Description

Gennett #5220: The New Orleans Rhythm Kings play "Mr. Jelly Lord" (With Jelly-Roll Morton on the piano) backed by the jazz classic "Clarinet Marmalade" featuring Leon Rappolo on clarinet. Record grades V+ maybe approaching E- on the "Clarinet" side with some foreign matter in the grooves on "Lord" that sounds occasionally but is not overwhelming on my gear. Great, hot performances both sides; Richmond, Indiana sessions. This one is sought after.
