Condition Record/Sleeve: EX+/EX- (record immaculate, (a few very light hairlines only), DREAM audio. Cover clean and unwritten, with corners tiny "eaten", tiny wear on edges)

~~ This was one of Earring's most distinctive albums, which certainly presents the main elements that made music extraordinary in the 70's. The songs are basically heavy prog with long instrumental passages which seem to be jams where the musical ideas are hugely developed between jazz and psychedelia, sometimes reminiscent of the space rock played by Hawkwind. The sax and keyboard arrangements on the pieces are superb. The well- known "Radar Love" is fantastic, with an irresistable jazz-like swing and groove from the drums and bass. Highlight is the 10 minute killer "Vanilla Queen".
Another favourite is "Are You Receiving Me?" The two tracks (on the European version) "Suzy Lunacy" and 'Vince Taylor" are both a bit of thumping rock 'n' roll fun that give variety to the album. Moontan is sometimes known as the ultimate driving album. It's fresh, vivid sound never tires, each new listening will bring new surprises. A must have for all intelligent rock lovers.
