Description

HAnk Mobley "Soul Station" on Blue Note 4031, an original mono pressing from 1960. The labels have the 47 W.63rd NYC address and deep grooves on both sides. RVG and "ear" are in the dead wax. The glossy cool cover is in VG++ condition, no seam splits, no writing, no tape, very well preserved. The thick vinyl is visually in VG- condition, many light marks. However, the sound quality is a perfect example of the deep groove Blue Note quality. It plays with the rich full sound you would expect. I heard no loud pops, obviously no skips or jumps, very enjoyable with light background.
