Description
Here's a mighty heavy rarity folks, one of only a handful of known copies of HENDRICKSON ROAD HOUSE on Two:Dot (same label as Arthur and Mystic Zephyr 4) from California 1970. Not only is this extremely hard to find, but it's an outstanding LP with a professional folkrock/psych sound, terrific songwriting and beautful femme vocals from the main lady, Sue Akins. Check out the Acid Archives website for two enthusiastic reviews of this album, and the latest issue of UGLY THINGS, where it's rated as one of the best non-reissued LPs around. It's listed in one of the Hans Pokora "Collector Dreams" books with a ***** value rating, which is his second highest. This copy is very nice, with a mild discoloration from water damage in the lower left corner on the back cover (see 2nd scan). Otherwise it's a beauty, and with a perfect disc. Still in shrink. I haven't seen this offered for sale anywhere in the last years, a true rarity. Condition is M-/EX.
I have been collecting and dealing rare 1960s-70s records and items for 25 years. All items are graded M/M-/Ex/Vg++/Vg+/Vg/Vg-/G/F/P based on both aural and visual aspects. “M†corresponds to 10/10 on a 1-10 scale, while “P†equals 1/10. I rarely offer records below Vg+. This is a grading system used by many LP dealers, and I use it for other types of items as well. Grading for LPs/45s is disc/sleeve. Defects or unusual properties of the item will be mentioned specifically. Feel free to inquire during the auction.
I usually have more items up for sale, be sure to check my other auctions.
I encourage use of eBay checkout, but will also send separate e-mails for verification. Shipping costs will be calculated after auction and added to winning bid. 45s and CDs never ship for more than $5 anywhere, LPs never ship for more than $12. If you want to have the parcel sent registered or insured you must specifically require this. No ripoff "additional" fees for handling/eBay/Paypal/whatever added - what you see is what you get. Payment accepted via Paypal (recommended) or cash (US dollar/GB pounds/Euro/SE Kronor) in letter (at your risk). For European customers I also accept direct bank-to-bank wire transfers, which is an excellent method. No money orders or cheques.
Winner must get in touch within 3 days after auction’s end and submit payment within 10 days, or item will be withdrawn and negative eBay feedback left. Enforcing this is how I got my only negative comment, and I'm proud of it. Positive eBay feedback always left for smooth transactions. Good luck!
