Description
Up for auction is a RARE vinyl 12" lp record album from THE HORACE SILVER QUINTET for the album "Further Explorations"
Album was released on Blue Note Records in the USA (BLP 1589 - High Fidelity Mono)
Original 47 W. 63rd St. NYC Address / US Mono Pressing with Blue & White Label / Microgroove / Deep Groove / Rudy Van Gelder 'RVG' Stamp & Ear in runoff wax!
Condition:
Vinyl is in VG/VG+ (Side 1: Very Good/Side 2: Very Good+ ) visual grade condition
Playgrade: Side 1 mostly plays fine with some light surface noise heard. There are some light ticks heard on the last track of Side 1 'Pyramid'.
Side 2 - light surface noise mostly heard, especially in quiet portions. Plays Pretty decent!
Album Cover shows some light shelf wear with some minor rubbing along a few of the corners/edges.
There is a bottom seam split that measures about an inch from bottom opening.
Back cover shows some fairly standard aging. There is previous owners name written on back along with a date. This is visible towards the top upper left hand corner of back cover.
Binding is nice and solid! Spine is Readable!
