Description
Hank Locklin and The Rocky Mountain Boys 12" Metal acetate 78
I'm Lonely Darling b/w One More Mistake KLEE acetate label out of Houston Texas. The first side I'm Lonely Darling must have been the earliest attempt to rehearse this song because Hank's hesitation, flat notes and his timing is not in sych with the band. The polished version of this song was later released on 4 Star. Not sure if the flip side is different take than the released song.
This acetate was found in 4 Star warehouse
On the label it has "No" written probably to be sure this version was not issued.
The record is in VG++ condition. It must have stood in 4 Star studio warehouse untouched and unplayed for over 70 years.
