Description
Up for sale today is this Hank Mobley Blue Note 1550 RVG Album. I tested and played this album very carefully and turned up the volume to hear the slightest defect. One minute into the last tract I heard a very very slight pop, but that was it. No hisses, no static, even on side one, the first tract where Doug Watkins has his amazing solo that has so much emotion you can't hear any static at all . As far as a visual inspection goes there is on skuff on side one and thats it for the entire LP. This album came from a 75 year old woman who loved jazz and was given many albums by a friend who was a DJ in Seattle Wa in the late 50's . Look for more rare jazz very soon.
I was very impressed by the condition and the cover is also amazing, it looks new, still has the gloss. This as close to the word mint I have see in all my record sales . This is an deep groove pressing of 1550. It has the ear mark and RVG on the dead wax, no ® under the (E) and 47 West 63rd.
I am sure this will go to a good home! Congrats ahead of time to the new owner
