Description
Bluebird 5489 by Bo Carter: Bo Carter Special b/w Queen Bee. Godrich and Dixon say this was recorded in March of 1934 in San Antonio, with violin where heard by Lonnie Chatmon. This is Bo Carter's first issue on the Bluebird label. This couldn't have sold many copies at that time, in the depths of the depression. Cpouldn't find an online reference to any sale on Ebay. Excellent two sider with the very risque Queen Bee on side two. Labels have a lot of spindle marks on both sides. Shellac has light groove wear, some high spot rubbing, some small needle drop marks. About 70% of it's original gloss. Visual grade V+. Check the sound clips for play grade.
This will be packed between four filler pads inside a 5 inch thick box filled with packing. Wait for the invoice before paying, as this must go priority, and $4 shipping is not enough.
Please listen to the sound clips of portions of both sides, taken from this record offered for sale. Bid with confidence. Please see my feedback and read what other buyers say about my grading, packing, quick shipping time and overall professional service, then BID WITH CONFIDENCE!!
THE BUYER MUST BE COMPLETELY SATISFIED OR MAY RETURN THE ITEM FOR A FULL REFUND INCLUDING POSTAGE BOTH WAYS. PAYMENT DUE WITHIN 7 DAYS. BUYER WILL LOSE THE ITEM IF PAYMENT IS NOT MADE WITHIN 7 DAYS.

I only sell original first pressings, unless noted.
Auctions never end early, don't ask.

Conservative grading.
Combined shipping costs for multiple wins. No handling charges. Overseas costs will include either registered mail or priority mail on expensive items at my discretion.
Records shipped in professional mailers, LPs outside the sleeve, with cardboard filler pads. I ship as soon as possible, everyday, unless I am on the road.
I want your buying experience to be a happy one. If you are not happy with your purchase, return it and you'll get a full refund, plus your postage costs both ways. This is the best refund policy on Ebay.
Finally, mail order is pretty simple, based on trust and communication. You'll get the item safely, as described. As a buyer, please follow the Ebay guidelines and communicate with me within 3 days if you are not going to pay within that time.
I will leave positive feedback as soon as I get your payment. If you have a problem, let me know so it can be solved to your satisfaction, before leaving feedback and star ratings.
