...very, very nice copy with no track banding (The Beatles started it with their Sgt. Pepper LP)...

The Hollies only ever had the one #1 LP in England - The Hollies' Greatest Hits (#1 for 7 weeks from Oct. 1968).  Butterfly was their earlier 1968 LP and it shows Graham Nash starting his psychadelia musically - something he would carry on as a member of Crosby, Stills and Nash (+ Young). 

Marrakesh Express (CSN) pretty much picks up where the last part of that acronym left off with his Hollies songs on Butterfly.  The Hollies next LP (and the last with Graham Nash) was a tribute to Bob Dylan called Hollies Sing Dylan.  The Hollies follow up LP was Hollies Sing Hollies (sans Graham Nash who moved to America-land in early 1969).

So this was the Hollies only psych album (and just like the Beatles' Sgt. Pepper's LP there is no visible distinction aka track banding between songs on the vinyl LP surface).  Apparantly this method of pressing vinyl LPs didn't happen in the USA until the Phil Spector produced Sonny Charles & The Checkmates LP 'Love Is All We Have To Give' pressed in 1969.

No singles released in England; but Dear Eloise was released as a single in Australia (and Nash's trippy songs such as Try It; Elevated Observations and Step Inside were released as the B-sides of singles here in Oz; with Jennifer Eccles, Listen To Me and Do The Best You Can as the non-LP A sides). - originalsound

This LP record has been played in full immediately before listing with an Ortofon stylus and cartridge on a Pro-Ject Debut III turntable (which is an entry level turntable to audiophile sound).

It is a pre-condition of bidding and winning any of my music auctions that the winner indemnifies me from responsibility for uninsured/unregistered items lost or broken in the post.  I will never again be held to ransom by fellow ebayers who choose to blame me for Australia Post's less than wonderful delivery service.

UK RECORD COLLECTOR GRADING SYSTEM 

MINT (M): The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deteroration in sound quality.  The cover and any extra items such as lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition.  Records advertised or Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

EXCELLENT (EX): The record shows some signs of being played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality.  The cover and packaging may have slight wear or creasing.

VERY GOOD (VG): The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch.  Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD (G): The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches.  The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.

FAIR (F): The record is still playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump.  The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.

POOR (P): The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc.  The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

BAD (B): The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler.

Grading can be fine tuned by adding + or -.  As a rule sleeves/covers are graded first, eg. EX+ / MINT - (Cover/Record)
