1968 UK 1st *STEREO* PRESSING LP


This superb sounding greatest hits album is all you need for the pristine 'tube cut' true stereo mixes of all their hits.

This NEAR MINT copy is an UK 1968 early 1st STEREO pressing on the back & yellow Parlophone label: PCS 7057

Both labels bear the Sold in UK.. text and have the obligatory 'Gramophone..' worded rims.


Housed in a front laminated, tri-flipback 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed stereo cover.

Complete with an original plain white 'Patent No...' inner-sleeve.


Matrix numbers: YEX 693-1 & YEX 694-1

A perfect, unblemished pair with completely unworn centre holes on both sides.

Beautiful 'as new' playing surfaces which are pristine & unmarked in strong daylight with just a few barely visible wispy paper hairlines directly beneath my powerful halogen. You will not need to upgrade this copy.

Play: NEAR MINT

All of the outstanding tracks on this barely, if ever played copy sounds 'as new' with no traces of any groove/play wear whatsoever. Both run-ins and all bands play without interference and there are no clicks, ticks or any other such audible distractions any where. A real joy.

Cover

EXCELLENT +

A terrific example with a super-glossy from panel laminate which displays just a few light spine wrinkles but no 'thumbnails' anywhere. All corners are clean & sharp and both opening edges undamaged. The rear panel is immaculate and free from any marks, writing or missing paper. All flipbacks, seams and the spine are fully intact & unworn.
