1965 UK 1st *MONO* PRESSING LP
This immaculate UK 1st mono pressing is on the yellow & black Parlophone label: PMC 1235
Both labels carry the 'Sold in UK..' text & 'Gramophone Co. Ltd..' rims.
The 'KT' tax/price code is present in the centre of the side 2 label.
Housed in a front laminated, tri-flipback 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed mono cover.
Complete with its original 'Use Emitex' rice-paper lined inner-sleeve.
Matrix numbers: XEX 559-1 & XEX 560-1
Stamper codes: 1/GL & 1/GD

Labels: EXCELLENT
A very fine clean & bright set with a small collection of faint spindle marks around each centre hole but no other traces of wear. A small section of the silver centre hole marker is still present on the side 2 hole.
Visual: EXCELLENT +
Both surfaces of this pristine copy are MINT & 'shop new' when viewed in strong daylight with no surface marks or scratches whatsoever. Close examination directly beneath my halogen desk lamp reveal nothing more than a a few barely visible wispy paper hairlines from the inner-sleeve removal but no other blemishes or wear at all.
Play: NEAR MINT
A really outstanding sounding copy which has only received a few careful plays on top-quality equipment. All tracks during my careful playcheck at volume sounded 'as new' with no evidence of any groove/play wear whatsoever or indeed any clicks, ticks or any other such distraction. I guarantee that you won't be disappointed.

EXCELLENT +
Like my other Hollies LPs I have listed this week, this cover looks like it left the shop yesterday. It has been carefully and correctly stored in non-smoking environment and retains a perfect, unscratched & undamaged high-gloss laminate with not even a single 'thumbnail' wrinkle in sight. All corners are perfectly clean & sharp with the only evidence of wear on the entire cover is a few tiny 'pushes' to the rear edge. The rear panel itself is immaculate and white with no marks, writing or missing paper. There is a tiny rub on the right flipback but otherwise they and both seams and the spine are in perfect condition.
Inner-sleeve
EXCELLENT
Clean & crisp with just a few unavoidable storage creases but no splits, tears or writing.
