Description
This is an early RVG-stamped deep-groove “P”-pressing of Horace Silver “The Stylings of Silver” on the “47 West 63rd” (no “New York 23”) labels of Blue Note BLP 1562. The playing surface is mint; perhaps played once. The laminated cover has the “47 West 63rd St.” address; ¼” wear at the top of the spine and on the top seam, at the opening; light foxing on the back slick; otherwise bright and clean throughout. Personnel include Art Farmer, Hank Mobley, Teddy Kotick, and Louis Hayes.
