Outstanding nearly impossible to find Italian Library masterpiece signed by the infamous quartet I MARC 4 feat. the great maestro Alessandro Alessandroni. For sure one of the hardest albums on Sermi label and one of the much sought-after tough. Mindblowind, unbelievable music from the same legendary recording session of ALESSANDRONI E IL SUO COMPLESSO (the first Farfalla) including several outtakes and alternative versions of that infamous jam. Studio orchestra composed of I Marc 4 plus Alberto Corvini and Livio Cerveglieri (horns section). Colourful, breathtaking moody sounds also reminiscents of NEL MONDO DEL LAVORO by Rino De Filippi best cuts. Powerful and delicious I Marc 4 Jazz arrangements sorrounded by loads of groovy vibes / amazing scats by I CANTORI MODERNI DI ALESSANDRONI chorus / Bossa Lounge and cheeful '60s vintage vibes / mechanical Jazzy beats with dope knitted industrial drums / sophisticated Jazz Pop and Jazz Blues inspired sounds with also Classical lines. Check the mindmelting beats from "RAGGI DI SOLE" and "HOLYDAY", alternative versions of the infamous MECCANICO from ALESSANDRONI E IL SUO COMPLESSO, that killer obstinated beat with sparkling strings and moody rythms. "METROPOLI" it's a insane Jazz sample, superbly played and arranged by Antonello Vannucchi: a stunning Modern Jazz bomb recalling traffic movements and American Modal Jazz inspired, with sparkle organ and piano & dope Jazzy drums. Then "INTIMITA" is another jewel cut from the Alessandroni's 1st Farfalla with its enchanting whistle and the incredible Bossa drums and organ solo. "VOCI IN VACANZA" is another mindmelting Scat burner with I Cantori Moderni chorus for a perfect scoring theme. "DARKNESS" is great dark Swing theme Blues inspired with nice vibraphone and bass flute intrusions, compressed and dry Jazz Swing drums. The restful atmospheres of "DISEGNO DEL MARE" with wide trumpet melody and perfect Lounge motif. More Easy Listening vibes on "SIDEWALK", colourful scats on "ESTASI" and moody sophisticated atmosphered on "MOODY". OUTSTANDING RECORD!
