I MARC 4 PER VOI - ITALIAN LIBRARY Lp by COMPLESSO I MARC 4 music by PEPPINO DE LUCA and CARLO PES vocals by EDDA DELL'ORSO. Original Italian pressing on the RICORDI label (LR 10), from 1970. Holy grail, I Marc 4 Italian Library session. For us, their best release. An eclectic killer set by the cult studio group led by Carlo Pes. No wonder Armando Trovajoli and Peppino De Luca used these fabulous musicians for some of the hottest and most important soundtrack / Library recordings in the world ;) Expect obsessive funk themes / scat bossa with the bewitching voice of Edda / delirious beat with a spaghetti western cum psychedelic cowboy twist / mod soul / funky drum breaks / strange lounge sounds / country fried hammond rock and even bowed bass cello with male scat vocals and jaw bone harmonica. Certain themes also feature a bigger rhythm section than what it says on the sleeve but all for the better. There's a flute player / conga player / horn section and backing singers from an un-credited orchestra on here too. Our soundclip opens with the amazing MIDDLE SOUND followed by A UN PASSO DAI LINGOTTI then BRICK and several other cool themes. Great for DJs. Mood music that rivals any of their Nelson label Library releases, for sure. Shades of their Acid Delirio Dei Sensi - Fireball sound but taken to the next level. Seldom offered for sale. Sleeve artwork to die for, featuring a painting called "Estate" by Clara Duranti. Very rare Library Lp!!! Full tracklisting: BEAT AL SUD / SHOPPIN' / QUELLA SERA A PIAZZA NAVONA / SLOW DOWN / SALMO 1970 / HOT DOG / MIDDLE SOUND / BRICK / COWBOY PARTY / JUST BE MINE / BALLATA PER UN FLAUTO / PALME / COSTA SMERALDA / A UN PASSO DAI LINGOTTI / THERE'S A RIVER

Our record grading: SEALED / M- / VG++ / VG+ / VG

Vinyl is in strong VG/VG+ condition overall with hairlines / scuffs and old pressing marks from compression with the original inner sleeve. Light surface noises. Some soft pops / soft ticks in places (as you can hear on our soundclip). Superb production sound. The laminated card sleeve is graded strong VG+ condition overall regardless of the laminate crease lines / storage creases down and across the left hand spine side or just above bottom right corner of front sleeve (see photo). Some light corner and edge wear in places. Dirt marks or those strange freckled dots that you see on all the Pegaso / Jubal / Iller label Library sleeves from the same period. Some natural age discoloration to the laminate. Sharp looking item. Camera flash glare to sleeve and label photo. Very rare Library Lp!!!
