Up for grabs here is a generally all round nice and increasingly rare copy of the Iggy and the Stooges classic Raw Power album. Released on the CBS record label in 1973,the catalogue number is CBS 65586. Matrix etchings are clear to see in the pictures. Guaranteed UK original 1st press.
Record had a few non feelable marks but nothing that detracts in any major way of playback. Good,strong 70's pressing. Graded at VG+.
Outer sleeve has some ringwear and creasing around the edges,to be expected. Sleeve is fully intact with no tears,splits etc. Spine is fully readable though the "ig" ON Iggy has faded somewhat.
The rare picture inner is creased,common with age. Again it is fully intact with no splits which is a rarity in itself for this issue.

RECORD COLLECTOR GRADING SYSTEM MINT :The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed be Mint. EXCELLENT :The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VERY GOOD :The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. I may use a + or a - to emphasise a grading which may be inbetween a grade. I will never use a mint grading for a 2nd hand/used record for instance. Mint- will be the very highest grade.
