We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office.Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has became very slow. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our 8000 plus positive feedback.   We use a VPI machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery.   We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. \                                                                        TEST PRESSING

Every once in a great while you find out of a strange release by a legendary band ... here one of the strangest by far...This is an impossibly-rare test pressing that was licensed by Canada's "Trans-world" label to be released in Hungary in eastern Europe. We were advised the album never made it past this test pressing. The test pressing is 45 years old and was pressed from the original Canada "Transworld" masters, so the sound quality is as vibrant and bold as the Transworld pressing ... and you know the collectible status of that pressing (if not look it up on 'popsike') ...anyway, pretty much a one-of-a-kind item, or as eBay's "king tut" would slogan it, "Insanely rare" ....

This quartet, known as ELLISON from Canada recorded their one and only heavy psychedelic album in 1971. Among world-wide collectors it is a much loved hard psych-rock masterpiece with melancholic moments and intense songs with killer interplay. The lyrics describe drug experiences. Very few copies of this LP were released in Canada rendering it a sky high $$$ valued collectible.

The sole album recorded by Montreal band Ellison in 1971 for Trans-World Records certainly starts in attention getting fashion. After some door-knocking sound effects, the opening cut, "Unchanged World," charges into a gritty blues-rock groove with pulsating bass runs and some excellent guitar work. On top of that, vocalist Vincent Marandola does a pretty respectable impersonation of Jim Morrison's later-period-Doors, with a barrelhouse blues yodel (with vague hints of Steppenwolf's John Kay) and an earth-shaking, alcohol-soaked, gravelly shout.

Ellison formed in Montreal in late 1967. The band started playing quite frequently in and around Montreal, and actually played a few other gigs in Quebec. There exists very little information with regards as to how well or poorly their only record sold. In addition, the actual number of LPs pressed still remains a mystery. The album had only a limited release and quickly disappeared as did the band itself. The self titled album featured seven original songs that have been described as brash, loud, hard rock with straight from the heart vocal work. In a similar style as Canadian cohorts The Ugly Ducklings, The Haunted or the Sinners.  Ellison's album has become one of the most sought after Canadian underground psychedelic rock albums.
