Description

10¾" IRCC Columbia (Fonotipia matrices) IRCC 4 (XPh58-3/XPh2332).  OTELLO: Era la notte (Verdi)/FALSTAFF: Quand' ero paggio (Verdi).  Recorded 1904/1907. First IRCC edition (of two),1932. Side two sung three times, twice in Italian with studio applause cheering Maurel on, and then finally in French. Re-pressed in later 1930s with blue shellac and silver labels.  One harmless, faint ½" patina side one. A top copy.
