Description
This is a 12" 45 RPM single from their self-titled 1980 album, Iron Maiden. It has been exceptionally well cared for. The vinyl looks fantastic and hardly played. Take a look at the spindle hole in the photos. It's near untouched. And the thick paper cover is striking. The corners and edges are sharp, solid, and intact. The vinyl has left an impression on the cover but that doesn't detract from its condition at all. And it doesn't affect the artwork, either front or back. Both the vinyl and cover are in incredible shape. I even have the original plastic cover from the store it was purchased from. It's marked "w/ non-LP Women in Uniform".
I purchased this (along with many other albums I'll be listing) from the original purchaser. This was a man who enjoyed his music but also took very good care of his vinyl. And he did not buy his music second hand. No, he bought only original pressings from, sadly, now defunct music stores. He knew what he wanted and he collected it. And he kept everything in original condition.
I've had these for well over 20 years. I purchased much of his collection. Unfortunately, I no longer have the ability to play vinyl. Those days are long behind me. So my description of the vinyls condition is from a visual inspection only. For that, I am sorry. But I do use both the bright, unfiltered sunlight and a very bright lamp for my inspections. And I've been buying and enjoying vinyl since the mid-80's, so I've seen more than my share. And I feel confident in my accuracy. But, if by some chance, I am way off and you are not pleased with the quality of the album, please reach out and let me know. We will discuss it and I'll do all I can to make you satisfied.
Will be shipped in a solid box mailer, made specifically for LP's. And the vinyl will be placed in a new anti-static liner, outside of the original cover. And all will be protected in a new outer protective sleeve. All original. All kept together!
