"I'VE GOT THE GIRL" by DON CLARK AND HIS LOS ANGELES BILTMORE HOTEL ORCHESTRA is a famous record for only one reason: It's the 1926 recorded debut of a kid from Spokane Washington named HARRY LILLIS "BING" CROSBY. He and Al Rinker had worked their way south doing vaudeville to L. A., and found a gig with the Don Clark band. It wasn't long before they were picked up by Paul Whiteman, and Crosby took what proved to be the next step in a spectacular career.
They don't sing on the flip side, "IDOLIZING," which has a rare girl (Betty Patrick) vocal refrain.
This original 1926 "Viva-Tonal" Columbia 824-D is in lovely E- condition. The label of "Idolizing" is somewhat thrashed, but the condition of that side is still E-.

I always post at least four clear images, showing the record fore and aft, a close-up of the label, and the whole disc, warts and all. If my purple prose won’t cut it, the pictures will!
