Description

Excellent UK stereo repress (70/71?) of Joe Harriott and John Mayer's Indo-Jazz Fusions (first issued in 1967), which powerfully blended modern jazz and Eastern music, carrying on where the previous year's Indo-Jazz Suite left off.
Recorded on the Columbia Records' famed Lansdowne Series jazz imprint, this is a great copy with much to commend it.
The front laminated flipback sleeve has minimal wear - a hint of ringwear to the front and the remains of a label at the top of the back cover. It grades Excellent minus.
The vinyl plays through really well with very occasional surface noise in quieter moments - there is the odd mark and hairline but it easily grades VG++ to EX.
The black and silver Columbia labels are in fine shape and grade Excellent.
And the original picture EMI inner sleeve is also in Excellent order. You'd struggle to find a better copy.
Groundbreaking, excellent, collectable jazz.
