INTRODUCING...THE BEATLES - ENGLAND'S No. 1 VOCAL GROUP LP 1062 Vee-Jay Records MONO
There are many versions of this LP, including bootlegs, soyou have to be careful when buying. This LP is referred to as the "Column Back Cover" in Beatles fan circles. It includes the songs "Love Me Do" and "P.S. I Love You" which were later replaced with "Ask Me Why" and "Please Please Me" due to an alleged licensing agreement breach back in 1963 or 1964 I believe.
This album is the LP that includes the colorband "rainbow" circle on the label, both "A" and "B" sides with the oval "VeeJay" label before some later versions included the VJ "bracket" logo.
63-3402 on Side 1 and 63-3403 on Side 2 of the labels. The deadwax includes an "AudioMatrix" stamp on both sides and a triangle followed by the number 5702 or 5702-X
The inner jacket is regular white, no record "ad" included as with the very very first production. Front Cover Sleeve: You can see George Harrison's shadow on the far right of the front cover.
Cover Sleeve condition: G to VG, some ringwear along the bottom, surface scuffs, and dinged corners as shown in the photos. Slight split seam at the top about one inch long each side.
Vinyl condition: VG to VG+. Vinyl plays fine, no skips or pops. Visually looks pretty good, some light feather scratches but doesn't seem to effect play. Lots of sheen still on the vinyl.
Label condition: WOL "Mark" in black sharpie marker is visible on Side 1. Back cover has the name "Bill Markham 8" written across the top (shown in photos) in a black sharpie-type marker.
