CRY TUFF WISDOM MAN 7" JA, matrix: DSR 7757/58...PRINCE FAR I A: JAH BROWN FREEDOM FIGHTER (Heaviest steppers from Prince Far I's stable...this is Brigadier Jim Brown using his cultural alter ego Jah Brown for some derad-a-dread lyrics straight to the head of Babylon..."Jah Jah Send 'em Paul Bogle And They Hang Him With A Rope...Jah Send William Gordon And They Kill Him..."...Babylon a fought Marcus Garvey and all the other JA freedom heroes...and slaughtered 'em...the riddim is well known from Rod Taylor's "Run run" and Prince Far I's own "Go Home ON The Morning Train" (from "Free From Sin"-longplay)... another rarely found original press 7" from Far I's Cry Tuff Wisdom Man-imprint...militant sounds of roots + culture!) B: CRY TUFF & THE ORIGINALS BLESSED ARE THE PEACE MAKERS (Pure steppers militancy dub-wize w/ ruffest spoken intro...yes I!) (ORIGINAL PRESS - NOT A RE-PRESS!) FEATURE: BURY THE BARBER WAX'N'SOUND: ex / ex, both sides look great, showing hardly any marks, plays well dread w/ killer punch + definite clear sound, perfect copy! LABEL: both sides show lightest general wear, NO writings, NO damages, perfect - watch the scan, please! Something 'bout Sound + Vision: We shouldn't rely on visual appearance alone (as pretty looks isn’t all as they say) - therefore these records are graded after their visual appearance and their sound quality! I personally prefer a record with crackling but strong sound + punch to one playing clean but with surface noise from the pressing (as we find with re-pressed discs - too - often). Grading records is a very subjective thing but I try hard to be objective as a human being can be (yes indeed, this seller is a human being). THIS IS MY VINYL GRADING SCALE: EX (= really great - EX means "excellent", really...) VG (= nice, if you don't have an excellent one - by the way: VG means "very good"...) G (= playable, but you might find a better one - G means "good", but this term may be a bit euphemistic to reggae-vinyl-novices. Be realistic: a record graded G doesn't jump nor stick, but that's the best I can say about it...)
