JAKI BYARD & RON CARTER & ROY HAYNES "HERE'S JAKI" Orig. mono RVG lp on Prestige/ New Jazz 8256 US issue (1961) VG/VG. I would grade this LP VG. I will only auction VG condition LPs that are “classic recordings” or just very old, interesting and hard-to-find LPs. These records will probably have a healthy amount of play and visible scuffs or lines that do affect play. The record still plays through nicely; it’s just an obviously much appreciated recording. THIS IS A VINTAGE COPY (pre-2000).ALL LPS COME TO YOU FRESHLY CLEANED AND PLAY READY. FOR MAXIMUM RESULTS RE-CLEAN EACH SIDE AFTER INITIAL PLAY (SOME OF MY LPS HAVE NOT BEEN PLAYED FOR 40 YRS. OR MORE). This had had a lot of play before I got my hands on it and I love this recording so I played it a lot as well. So it shows spindle wear but it is still a VG listen in my opinion. It's a great great trio.
The Jacket: a very functional jacket I would grade VG overall with heavy ring, seam and corner wear. Just the very beginning of splits top seam at corners. Like the Lp showing it's age but just fine. (I will only be citing things not visual in the photos). (I do not remove stickers unless they come off easily. I leave that for the buyer).
