SAPCOR3, UK early dark green ‘Apple’ record label.

A UK stereo album in original condition, featuring:

1. very early ‘mothers / stampers’ of, '1 GR' and '1 GG', engraved onto the record,

2. early UK 'dark green' record label on side one,

3. early UK laminated 'gate fold', ‘flip back’ sleeve,

4. on the record label on side two, track six, it reads, ‘Blues is just a bad dream’, but printed on the sleeve this track title reads as, ‘The blues is just a bad dream’,

5. comes with its original UK period, ‘Apple copy write’ inner sleeve,

CONDITION:

THE MAIN SLEEVE: is in excellent++ condition. The front and rear of the sleeve is laminated. The laminate has retained its quality glossy unspoilt finish and is virtually free from any 'marks', 'scuffs' or 'indentations'. The spine is in, overall excellent condition, it has some of the usual wear to the top and bottom. The spines text appears on the opposite side 'edge' of the sleeve, this 'edge' is in excellent++ condition and all of the text on this 'edge' is clear to read. An early ‘gate fold’, twin ‘flip back’, ie 'fold over' edges sleeve. Theres NO pen writing, tears, splits to the sleeve.

THE INNER SLEEVE: is in excellent+ condition and is the original correct period UK, ‘Important Notice, copy write exist in all Apple recordings', inner sleeve. The two opening edges have remained clean and unworn. Theres NO pen writing, tears, splits, stickers or sticker residue to the inner sleeve.

THE RECORD: side one, half of track one has a slight, 'light' non audible 'scuff', so I will grade track one as being in very good++ condition, the rest of side one is in near MINT condition. Side two is in near MINT condition, Note - that the condition of the playing surfaces have been graded under 'normal daylight' conditions. The record is made from the original quality period ‘thick, heavy’ vinyl. The record has remained very dark and glossy.

The records 'engraved matrix' is, SAPCOR 3 A – 1 and SAPCOR 3 B – 1,

The 'mother / stampers' are: ‘1 GR’ and ‘1 GG’, very early,

THE AUDIO: each side of the record plays excellent++, each side of the record plays with excellent quiet grooves. The record plays with a full loud, powerful period, 'stereo' sound.

THE RECORD LABELS: each of the record labels are in near MINT condition. Each of the record labels are free from any pen writing, stickers or sticker residue.

TO GRADE THE CONDITION OF THE RECORD I AM USING THE GRADING SYSTEM BASED UPON THE GUIDE FROM THE UK'S ‘RECORD COLLECTOR’ MAGAZINE.

PACKING - ALL RECORDS ARE POSTED WITH MULTI LAYERED CARD STIFFENERS FOR PROTECTION. BEFORE POSTING, THE RECORD IS REMOVED FROM THE RECORDS ORIGINAL INNER AND OUTER SLEEVES, THE RECORD IS THEN PUT INTO A SECOND PAPER INNER SLEEVE TO MINIMISE ANY DAMAGE THAT MAY OCCUR WHILE IN TRANSIT. THE RECORD / SLEEVES ARE THEN PUT INTO A NEW PLASTIC SLEEVE FOR FURTHER PROTECTION.
