Description

Description

This sale is for a factory sealed copy of "Cheap Thrills" by Janis Joplin & Big Brothers & The Holding Company. This is from 1968 (1st pressing) on Columbia KCS-9700. This is in beautiful factory sealed condition.......see all photos as they are part of the description. This features a gatefold cover & there are 2 small breathe holes in the back shrink & 1 in the front shrink. Also, this could be the 1968 issue or the 1970 issue. My sense is that it is the 1969 issue because the vinyl is heavy & the cover is thick cardboard & plus the 3 breathe holes...all indications of a first 1968 pressing. The songs are "Combination Of The Two", "I Need A Man To Love", "Summertime", "Piece Of My Heart", "Turtle Blues", "Oh, Sweet Mary" & "Ball & Chain".

Super nice!

Please make sure to check out the photos because they tell the story here!

Condition

  • Cover : The gatefold cover is in NM/NM- condition with a tiny light rub on the upper left corner tip but otherwise this looks new. The shrinkwrap is clean, tight & untorn. This is still sealed & the LPs have never been outside the cover & have never been played. *****PLEASE NOTE***** In the photo below, the spot at the bottom of the cover is from the flash of my camera. This is NOT on the cover. Flash only.

  • Vinyl : Presumed to be NM & unplayed since this is still factory sealed.

  • Labels : Presumed to be NM since this is still factory sealed.
