Jazz (later Jazz & Pop) was an American Music Magazine edited by Dan Morgenstern that operated from 1962 to 1971. An excellent publication, produced as a rival to Down Beat magazine, it was established to offer readers serious jazz criticism written by knowledgable experts. The magazine features Record Reviews, Gig Reports and News. The magazines are illustrated with black & white pictures.
