Description
From my PERSONAL Collection - just played on my new Denon turntable/cartridge to record.
Yeah - I was big into Quad in the day - had the top of the line JVC receiver, four Advents and two turntables - one just for quad - and a quad tape deck...
I rate these LPs on sound mostly - then cover, inserts, LP sleeve, etc. I care about the sound the most.
I've cleaned these LPs with my Discwasher and Zerostat - if you need more than that, you have some dirty LPs.
Original 1976 US LP on Epic JEFF BECK "Wired" PEQ 33849
This is a QUADRAPHONIC pressing SQ
VG+/VG+: very solid VG, both disc and jacket - some faint writing on the back of the jacket and a clip at the bottom - possibly a cut-out - by the Song titles - LP Sleeve - Good - It's not the original - see photos.
Side #1 - Sounds very good indeed! Very quiet in between songs...maybe a very faint pop now and then. Very quiet side - remarkable for its' age. Side #2 - Same as Side #1 - just heard a pop between song #1 and #2 - and one in the beginning and two at the end of song #3.
All-in-all - very listenable - if you have a better system than mine, should be even better sounding...
Record has been cleaned, sleeved, play tested and protected in an outer sleeve. I pack carefully and ship in a new or used, but in good shape, LP mailer with the LP outside the original sleeve.
The record play through fine. More cleaning might make it even better!
These results are on my equipment. You may or may not hear the same.
