Original UK 12" LP. 1st issue of 1st album. Gatefold sleeve on the pink Island label with the black and orange circle logo. The photograph of the label looks white because of glare, but is actually unfaded, bright pink. Island ILP 985.

Vinyl very clean and bright, with barely any surface marks. Plays well with virtually no surface noise; hardly any spindle marking on label.
The glossy gatefold sleeve is very clean and bright, with a wide, undamaged spine.
An excellent 1st issue copy of this classic debut LP.

A word about grading:
I sell special records on Ebay from time to time, but am not a full time vinyl dealer, and so make no pretense to giving 'Record Collector' type gradings - they are always subjective anyway, and can lead to pointless disputes about the difference between half a grade here or there.
I carefully examine all the records in a good light, and play through if necessary. All 50 year old records that have been played, are bound to have the odd light mark, a bit of spindle marking on the label, and will doubtless have an unobtrusive moment of surface noise over the two sides. Even records that are excellent to near mint will have a flaw if you look hard enough, and so I never pretend otherwise. What I will always do is describe any marks on the vinyl that detract from the overall look, or can be felt; and I will always mention any writing, damage or marks on the label or sleeve.
