LET´S TALK ABOUT A MILESTONE IN MUSIC HISTORY !
Up for auction is the Electric Ladyland Double album from Jimi Hendrix
on Track Records, UK 1968 Track 613008 / 9 Stereo
This comes from the first owners ` smoke free ´ collection.
It´s a hell of a record and a nightmare to stop!
And´it´s the insanely rare very first pressing
with:
BIG pictures of Mitch Mitchell and Noel Redding,
Blue Lettering,
Scratched out Matrix Numbers
Reversed catalogue numbers on the Labels
One of the most sought after UK LPs, this Original issue of Electric Ladyland with
its famous `Windsor Girls ´ Gatefold Cover showing Jimi on the right when opening the cover.
The Hendrix Photo is on the right side when opened the gatefold-cover.
AND BLUE INSTEAD OF WHITE TEXT INSIDE - Only the earliest pressings have it in blue!
More common later issues do have white text AND smaller pictures of Mitch Mitchell and Noel Redding.
The black / silver Track labels have reversed catalogue numbers on both records as seen on the picture.
Track Record versions with blue lettering are extremely hard to locate
in any condition and nowadays are very popular on the collecting scene!
The laminating on the cover shows one major wrinkle on the top right corner of both sides.
The corners and edges show some wear and imperfections or damaging
at the top and bottom of the spine. Otherwise the spine is intact the edges have no seam splits,
no rips or writings on the sleeve.

Not excellent but still in very good enjoyable condition.
Some might call this vg+ .
Both record have some surface lines but still look nice and shiny after 44 years!
The visual imperfections luckily are inaudible - i had a loud & final listen to both records.
And it´s fantastic - one of these records that´s just too deep sounding and
dynamic to work on any other material than on vinyl.
The real deal, you will love this one!
I´ll call both records very good + some seller still might call this ex- i believe.

With scratched Matrix number in the dead wax area.
A-Side : Matrix 613008,
B- Side: Matrix 61300, then scratched out number, then hand engraved 9 and hand ebgraved A,
then scratched out B and //1
C- Side : Matrix hand engraved 613009 B, then some scratched out numbers
that looks like it has `613009 ´ , then //1
Not too far away from excellent, but in very good condition the whole set.
Big rarity!
