Unfortunately I need to cash in on some of my record collection to help fund my retirement and to make matters worse my car tax and MOT is coming up as well so (very reluctantly as I thought Jimi was GREAT).........................
For auction here is a nice US Stereo PROMOTIONAL copy of The Jimi Hendrix Experience double LP 'Electric Ladyland' and issued in the Us on the Reprise label 2 RS 6307 in 1968. Having decided that the public weren't ready for a montage of naked ladies (and apparently Jimi didn't like the nudes either) the USA decided to go for a more non-controversial picture of Jimi on the front.
I believe that this was ONLY released in Stereo as stock copies. Mono and Stereo promotional copies apparently exist.
Matrix numbers are as follows:-
Side A 30799 2RS 6307A -1C Side D 30802 2RS 6307D -1G Side C 30802(crossed-out)1 2RS 6307-A(?crossed-out) C 1B Side D 30800 2RS 6307-B(on top of a C) (crossing-out0 1E
The cover is VG+, there are no tears, no stickers and no writing. There is some minor wear which the hard cardboard US covers are prone to. Please do NOT expect a MINT copy. It is however still a decent sleeve.
The records comes in, I believe, the correct Reprise inner sleeves. They are generally in a nice condition with the odd slight split and some minor creasing. The sleeves are the 10th Anniversary sleeves and I have been informed that these are the correct sleeves for this promo.
The vinyls are VG+, there are minor marks on all sides but generally it is a nice copy. Again they are NOT mint so please do not expect a crystal clear mark free copy. However it shouldn't disappoint. I would suggest getting it professionally cleaned.
The labels are fine as are the spindle holes. There aren't any obvious spindle marks.

I am willing to post multiple items abroad which will be tracked and signed-for. Payments for this method go direct through Paypal as Ebay's GSP does not cater for multiple item sales unfortunately.
I try to adhere as closely as possible to the Record Collector Magazine grading system which is shown below as a guide. I do ad + and - to gradings for intermediate conditions. Any record described as 'Mint' will mean 'Unplayed'.
RECORD COLLECTORS GRADING SYSTEM
Mint (M) The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet. booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records marked as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint. Excellent (EX) The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. Very Good (VG) The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects is acceptable Good (G) Te record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc Fair (F) The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced. Poor (P) The record will not play properly due to scratched, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing Bad (B) The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-fillerprice rating
