THE DISC
Matrix: Side 1: YEX 749-2 Stamper code: 3-GMO Matrix: Side 2: YEX 750-1 Stamper code: 5-TG
AUDIO - EX+
Fantastic sounding disc! Mainly silent run ins/outs; a touch of static in places. There are no 'pops' or anything else on a disc that plays perfectly from start to finish. The twenty-second silent part is absolutely silent. Just amazing!
VISUALLY - EX+
Possibly closer to near mint but there are the inevitable wispy lines present on any vinyl disc that has been handled but only really evident under powerful reflected light. Viewed normally, I cannot see any lines anywhere, even when tilted towards reflected daylight. The labels are near perfect, with just a few specks of missing paper on side 1 and just a moderate collection of spindle trails, suggesting fairly minimal play.

THE COVER - EX
The correctly 'aligned' apple cover is in great condition. Being an early issue, it has an over sized front panel which causes it to curve downwards towards the flip-backs. You can see this in the reflection in the photos above. All subsequent issues do not have this unique feature. Whether this was intended or just a manufacturing error, is unknown. The laminated panels are nice and smooth with none of the usual scratch lines found on most. There are perimeter wrinkles and three crescent curves at the open edge of the back panel but surprisingly, none on the front ( just a slight stress bend but nothing more ). The ultra-thin spine is in perfect condition.

THE INNER SLEEVE - EX
Correct, original single die-cut black first issue. The ridiculously fragile paper displays the inevitable creases but the circular opening is perfect and unsplit, which is very unusual. One side seam is perfect while the other, as well as the bottom is showing the beginnings of disc penetration. It is still quite hard to find an original that is this good.
