Description
This is the original Track UK MONO 1st pressing of Are You Experienced
from 1967 and is in excellent condition. Cat. No 612 001 on Track and is an
original UK MONO 1st pressing with the fully laminated sleeve.
Only a very few of the earliest pressings of this album's sleeves were FULLY
laminated. The record is in excellent condition for its age and has been well
looked after, there are only a few very light non-sounding marks on it and it
would easily be graded "excellent".
The front sleeve has only a couple of very light creases which I have highlighted
in the photo, with the rear of the sleeve all clear. There is no laminate lifting
or scuff marks on the spine or opening and no writing or other marks at all,
again I would grade the sleeve as excellent.

Released in 1967, Are You Experienced is one of the most defining pieces in
guitar history. When it was initially released the manufacturing method was
in the process of being changed - covers were to lose back-lamination.
AYE went into production just as it was being phased out, and as such a batch
or two were pressed fully laminated. This only happened with about 0.01% of
every cover that was printed with the other 99.9% having a front lamination only
and a paper back.
It's impossible to say just how rare this is. They're ten times rarer than a Stereo
Gold on Black label Please Please Me LP, rarer than the 1A/1A Rolling Stones
debut LP... possibly one of the rarest LP covers ever!
