Description

JIMMY DOCKETT
A: Extra!! Extra!! Read All About It
B: I Need You Around
[CAMILLE 120, US]

IMPOSSIBLE RARE undcoumented and seemingly totally unknown 45 release from 1968/1969 by this legendary aritst. The ballad b-side, "I Need You Around" was released on another of his Camille label releases, but the mid-tempo northern soul dancer "Extra!! Extra!! Read All About It" only appeared on this release (cat# 120) and seems to be entirely unknown. Have a listen below! I have never seen this 45 mentioned anywhere and the cat# 120 is missing from all Camille label discographies and it is not listed on Discogs or 45cat at the time of this auction going live. An incredibly rare 45.

Vinyl condition: EX- (very light hairlines, plays great, b-side is pressed slightly off-centre, listen!)
