Description
"JIMMY RANEY ENSEMBLE Introducing PHIL WOODS and JOHN WILSON" released on NEW JAZZ RECORDS (NJLP-1103) in 1953 is a 10" LP/EP, with 4 tracks each side. This is the original 1st Pressing (Scan 3 shows label). In Scan 1 showing the front cover if you look hard at the left and top seam, you'll see the piece of tape that has sealed the splitting of those seams. The bottom seam is also taped neatly. See below for rest of cover condition. I am also selling other Jimmy Raney 10" LPs - on Prestige and New Jazz over the next few days.
The RECORD is in strong VERY GOOD PLUS condition and appears to have been played moderately though no visible spindle marks on the labels, there are a small amount of surface marks and light scratches on the vinyl which on Playing leaves extremely light surface noise and an occasional light tick. The strong VG+ mentioned refers to the playing which is actually closer to NM in most places.
The COVER is in VERY GOOD condition, with all seams taped as mentioned above but otherwise the corners show light-medium wear (split or rounded), and the just light wear on the front and back (the scans add some weird color affect).
