JIMMY SMITH "House Party" RVG, P, DG, LAM, Blue Note 4002 Mono Vinyl
This is the "RVG" stamped, Deep Groove, Laminated Cover, P-pressing of JIMMY SMITH's "House Party" on the "47 West 63rd / New York" labels of Blue Note BLP 4002. Musicians include Jimmy Smith, Lee Morgan, Curtis Fuller, George Coleman, Lou Donaldson, Tina Brooks, Kenny Burrell, Eddie McFadden, Donald Bailey, Art Blakey.
VINYL plays with consistent medium level surface noise (i.e, static, crackle, ??,????,relative to the volume of the music/instruments), pops and ticks. Intermittent distortion of some instruments on a few tracks. Most tracks very powerful and instruments are clean. OK gloss. Many hairline marks, a few feelable. (If you can't feel it you won't hear it). The Deep Groove "47 West 63rd" labels are generally clean, with spindle marks. See photos.
LAMINATED COVER is in excellent shape, corners very worn. Seams and spine, excellent. "BLUE NOTE RECORDS INC., 43 West 61st St., New York 23" back jacket shows ringwear, wear. Please see photos.
