JIMMY SMITH “A New Sound . . . A New Star" Jimmy Smith At The Organ P, FR, RVG, Blue Note 1512 Mono Vinyl
This is the first pressing, “RVG” etched, Deep Groove, Frame Cover, P pressing of JIMMY SMITH’s “A New Sound A New Star” on the "767 Lexington Ave” labels of Blue Note BLP 1512. Musicians include Jimmy Smith, Thornell Schwartz, Bay Perry.
VINYL is in OK condition. Handful of hairline marks, some feelable. Plays with light surface noise. Good gloss. The Deep Groove “767 Lexington” labels are clean with much spindle wear. See photos.
COVER is in fair shape, corners worn. Some wrinkling. Top seam and spine in good shape, lower seam split end to end, tape residue can be felt on cover and back jacket bottom seam. "BLUE NOTE RECORDS, 767 Lexington Ave., New York 21” back jacket largely clean, tape residue bottom seam. Please see photos.
