Description

For instant sale is an overall excellent condition copy of a first stereo pressing from 1969 of 'BLUES BREAKERS' by JOHN MAYALL WITH ERIC CLAPTON.  It is on the DECCA label and has the catalogue number SKL 4804 indicating the stereo version.  On the labels, 'DECCA' is 'unboxed' and the matrix numbers in the run-out grooves end in P-1W both confirming that it is a first pressing of this version.  It also comes with the original Decca inner sleeve which is in excellent condition. The sleeve is in excellent condition for its age with hardly any marks or wear at all.  However, there is a tiny corner 'bump' and a very small amount of 'cornerwear'.  On the back, there is a little bit of 'grubbiness'.  No writing or other marks.  The spine is clear and fully readable.  Please study all the photos carefully to see the condition for yourself.   The labels are in excellent condition with just a few 'spindle trails'.  The record is also in overall excellent condition with just a few light surface marks from the inner sleeve.  It plays really well with just occasional light surface noise ('crackle') between tracks and in quieter passages and an occasional 'pop'.  I honestly think you would be hard-pressed to find a better example of this album. The album will be wrapped in bubblewrap before posting to ensure that it does not get damaged on its journey.  I will dispatch it in a proper record mailer and will post within one working day of purchase by Second Class post so that it gets on its way to you as soon as possible.
