JOHNNY GRIFFIN THE CONGREGATION BLUE NOTE LP RVG WARHOL
From 1958 comes this original mono deep groove pressing of The Congregation by Johnny Griffin (Blue Note BLP 1580), featuring album artwork by Andy Warhol.
The cover has Blue Note's West 63rd St. address on its back and is very good plus - no splits or writing, but a fair amount of spotting in addition to the standard amount of ring and edge wear to be expected in a cover of this vintage. The LP itself again has the West 63rd address on its labels, RVG and the ear stamped into its dead wax, and is very good plus as well.
To protect your investment, this LP - as with all vinyl purchased at The Great Escape Online - will be placed in a new plastic outer sleeve prior to packing and shipping.
