JOHNNY GRIFFIN “The Congregation” FIRST PRESSING Blue Note 1580 Mono Vinyl
This is the FIRST PRESSING, Deep Groove, RVG stamped, P pressing of JOHNNY GRIFFIN’s “The Congregation” on the “47 West 63rd” labels of Blue Note BLP 1580.
VINYL plays well, cleanly, with very low level surface noise primarily beneath the instruments. Light noise most noticeable between tracks and in bass solos. Some pops and ticks, some repeating. No distortion. No skips. No warps. Very many hairline marks, some feelable. Good gloss. The Deep Groove labels show minor wear and spindle marks. See photos.
NO JACKET. Vinyl will be shipped in white COVER.
This LP was play-tested on a high-end audio system. RECORD CLEANED ON PROJECT VCS VINYL CLEANER.
