recordmecca JONI MITCHELL rare 1st UK press DEBUT LP EXPORT COVER

Here is an extremely rare Joni Mitchell rarity--in fact before last week the only copy I'd ever heard of--the Reprise UK first pressing of Joni Mitchell's debut album, on the 3 Color Reprise label, with the original "export" stickered Canadian cover. UK Reprise must have had their doubts about how much this would sell, so instead of manufacturing their own cover, they imported Canadian gatefold covers and stickered them on the inner spread to reflect the UK catalog number, RSLP 6293. The only other copy of this I've ever seen sold last week on Ebay for 204 UK pounds, or $392.76. This is a slightly lesser condition one, but it is still in NM/NM (side one) EX to EX+ (side 2) condition. The label is beautiful with some spindle marks, but no other imperfections. Though I don't usually play grade records (no time !) I did listen to this, and though it sounds great there is some light surface noise in the quietest moments. But this is OH SO RARE, and if I were a Joni collector, I wouldn't expect to see another one of these for a long time. The copy that sold last week has one of those incredibly long descriptions by seller geesdee that I would never have the paitence to write (and don't want to copy) so if you are interested you can check it out at this link (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/ eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=58617&item=4707580073&rd=1). This has the same first press matrixes, and everything else he mentions. I'm selling this for much less than his went for. Thanks.
