Description
A beautiful copy of the first Joy Division release. I've been sitting on it for years, waiting for a reliable source to list the details of the original vs the boots. Thank you Record Collector! I actually had a boot to compare it to, and this is the real thing. I aquired it from an estate of a Factory Records collector about 15 years ago. He kept all his records double bagged, records taken out of the sleeves (no ring wear!). I think the photos say it all, even got the matrix numbers in there.

On May-24-06 at 17:44:52 PDT, seller added the following information: I just wanted to add a little bit more information to answer some questions we've received: The matrix number is PSS-139-EP-A-1 (B-1 for second side) and the initials EG are present on both sides. The handwriting is very small and the EG is in the same hand as the matrix numbers. I tried to get the EG to show up with my camera but it just wasn't happening. The vinyl is serrated around the edges of the label. The label has a very narrow space between the printing and the edge of the label. Let me know if you have any other questions. Thanks! On May-27-06 at 09:15:33 PDT, seller added the following information: Okay, I need to add another note about the condition. There are some minor scuffs and tiny scratches and one longer hairline scratch on one side that cannot be detected when the record is played. These were not even visible under the light I used when I was originally listing but I did check again just now under a different light and found these minor flaws.
