DESCRIPTION

Judas Priest - “Judas Priest Great Vinyl And Concert Hits” Columbia Records 9C9 39926 S-1 (Stereo) from 1984. Hard to find Picture Disc Heavy Metal / Hard Rock album from Judas Priest. Features Studio and Live Hits from prior to 1984. Side One has the same artwork as “Screaming For Vengeance” but this is a completely different set of songs. Side Two has a group photo. In the Original Clear Poly Sleeve with a Hype Sticker featuring the Track Listing. There seem to be two version of this LP, this is the version with a Clear Vinyl Rim.

CONDITION

The Poly Sleeve is in nice shape. Not really sure how to grade but there are no real flaws. One tiny nick in the right hand seam, some ring impression and wrinkling - would probably straighten out if laid flat in a warm area. There is yellowing of the hype sticker and a little bit of residue at the bottom I think from an old price tag  - might be removable. No splits, writing, stains, etc. and I would say at least VG and probably more like VG+. It is hard to tell with Picture Discs but the vinyl appears to be quite likely Unplayed at least I could not spot any scuffs or marks. Visually Near Mint and I spot played it and it seemed perfect, not even any groove noise that I could hear.

Records are graded to the best of my ability to Goldmine Visual standards. I provide Play Grades as a courtesy but only guarantee the Visual Grade. If you are not familiar with this grading system (or even if you think you are!), please check it out before bidding. I have summarized the important (i.e. I think everyone knows what Mint means) points below in Goldmine's words:

Very Good Plus (VG+): Record surfaces may show some slight signs of wear and may have slight scuffs or very light scratches that don't affect one's listening experience. Slight warps that do not affect the sound are OK.
Very Good (VG): Surface noise will be evident upon playing,... Groove wear will start to be noticeable, as will light scratches (deep enough to feel with a fingernail) that will affect the sound.
I stand by my grades but would like us to be on the same page so no problems arise. I have been selling Vintage Vinyl for over twenty years on the net and I can count the returns I've had on one hand so I believe my grading is fair and accurate. One important note, I try to grade to these Goldmine guides as best as I can understand and apply them. This gives us both a written standard to go by rather than having to guess. But.... it also means that I don't issue refunds over differences of opinion in grading i.e. "That's not MY idea of a VG record!" - I don't know what your standards are and, as such, can't grade to them. I guarantee that items I sell will meet my description, nothing more or less! If you are not satisfied that a purchase meets my description, I will do what I can to make it right if you give me the chance and work with me! Please feel free to check my feedback.
