Jack White StripesThird Man Records Vault #8 2x180 gr lps Live Mississippi Fargo
Third Man Records' vault package #8 has become one of the most sought after issues since they began The Vault. This package was opened upon delivery, everything was checked over to make sure there were no issues, then stored, never played...not the lps, not the 7", not the DVD. The 2lp 180 gram vinyl, Live in Mississippi isa recording of the White Stripes’ final live concert from July 31st, 2007 in Southaven, Mississippi. The set list rich withthe blues and features covers of songs by Robert Johnson, Son House and Leadbelly. The rest of the set includes songs from all six of the White Stripes’ studio albums and the show is offered in its entirety.
The 7” features some of the earliest recordings the White Stripes ever made. The a-side is a stark version of “Signed DC” originally done by the band Love on their self-titled debut record from 1966. The flipside is a rendition of the Otis Redding classic “I’ve Been Loving You Too Long.”
The final piece is a DVD entitled Under Moorhead Lights All Fargo Night. Recorded at Ralph’s Corner Bar in Moorhead, Minnesota on June 13th, 2000, this previously unseen footage captures the band immediately following the release of their album De Stijl on what was their first extended bout of touring across the United States. Performing for only a handful of people, the show is heavy on the band’s earlier material with a rockin' cover of Iggy Pop’s “I’m Bored” being a highlight.
IMMEDIATE PAYMENT AT AUCTION'S END IS REQUIRED,PLEASE.
I'm in the process of selling several thousand cds-some individually, some in lots-I guarantee inserts and disc playing quality-most of my cds are in no less than VG+ (and that's very, very conservative)...many have been ripped and stored. The majority have never been played in anything but my home CD players-either a Bang and Olfusen Beogram CDX or an NAD 5325. SOME (not most, but some) will have jewel cases that are scuffed or cracked, some will have a broken hinge or two, or there may be a shattered spindle. This is partly why I'm letting my cds go, opting for vinyl and mp3. Jewel cases are replaceable, of course-personally I can't stand 'em. Just be aware that if you receive any cds with those flaws, that's part of this deal-I'll guarantee playing and visual quality but not jewel case condition. That said, I won't send you jewel cases that have completely fallen apart, either. My feedback should demonstrate my credibility and sincerity. Thanks for taking the time to read my "small print."
WINNING BIDDER--PLEASE NOTE--IMMEDIATE PAYMENT UPON AUCTION'S END IS REQUIRED. FREE SHIPPING IN THE US. OVERSEAS, SEE FAIR RATES BELOW.
