Description
(Scroll down to see all the photos - click on each to see a closeup view) This auction is for a Jay and the Americans picture sleeve (no record) for "Sunday and Me" b/w "Through This Door" - United Artists 948. When I got this sleeve it had a promotional record in it (the record isn't included in the auction). It appears this is a hard-to-find picture sleeve, so maybe they were just issued with the promos? The reverse side of the sleeve is all black with the words "Wear Paris Belts Another Cool Move". (I have no idea what that means) The sleeve is in very good condition with a couple diagonal creases in the lower right hand corner (one crease is 1-1/2" and the other is 3") - there are a couple lighter creases in the lower left hand corner - the upper left hand corner has a 2-3/4" diagonal crease - there is a 1-1/4" diagonal crease in the upper left hand corner - there are a couple small (1/4") light brown marks along the top edge above the "Jay and the Americans" (one above the "M" in Americans" - there is a light indentation from when a record was in there - there is a vertical line that goes across the right side of the photo side of the sleeve about 1/2" from the edge (on the black side of the sleeve there is the same vertical line 1/2" from the left edge - probably from when it was printed) - the black side of the sleeve has light rubbing from the center record label (around the words) - there is some light rubbing/ring wear on the black side. (Check the photos) A HARD-TO-FIND JAY AND THE AMERICANS PICTURE SLEEVE! Postage is $3.75.
