The Item:

Original: Jazz From Carnegie Hall Souvenir Program - From 9-10-58 show at Sheffield City Hall, UK
Signed by: J.J Johnson, Kai Winding, Oscar Pettiford, Kenny Clarke, and Phineas Newborn,

All signatures are clean and bright.

Condition: VG++, some minor discoloring, writing on front.  Band line ups are augmented in pen on middle gatefold.  Some minor bends to top right corners.  Pettiford's signature "carbon copied" to the pages below it because of the dark print.

Oscar Pettiford, one of the greatest Jazz Bassists and Cellists of all time, passed away a little less than two years after this performance.  His early death makes his signature even more rare than most of his contemporaries.
