Description
Jazz In A Stable Transition TRLP 1 mono Back and gold label, deep groove
Herb Pomeroy (t), Varty Haroutunian (ts), Ray Santisi (p), John Neves (b), Jimmy Zitano (d) Recorded 1955
Black and gold" label and deep groove both sides. "F8 OP7078-1/F8 OP7079-1A in the runouts. "No. 6 Ashton Place Cambridge, Massachusetts." address on back cover.
Record looks VG++. It plays VG+ to VG++ due to surface noise inherent in Transition's styrene pressings. There's a tiny 1/8 inch scratch across the grooves on Side 1 track 1. Rest of side and Side 2 are very clean. No scuffs, no scratches. Grooves are bright and glossy and record looks little played. No booklet included with any copy of this Transition Lp as Tom Wilson's notes are on the back.
Cover is VG+.
Front cover looks really nice with very light wear and some laminate coming loose at the pocket. Back cover has moderate wear and staining with the slick "bubbling" in a few places. Top seam is not split with light wear and staining. Bottom seam is split and untaped 7 inches at the pocket and split and untaped app 1 inch at the pocket. Spine split and untaped from top to bottom.
