A nice album from a hard-to-find label, a must for the serious jazz collector.

This is an album from an extensive collection of early jazz albums that I will be selling for a Vermont client, so look back often to take advantage of a wonderful collection. 

I take a lot of pictures as they tend to show the condition better than I can describe them.  Be sure and check out the pictures and ask for more if there is something specific you want to see. 

This is the original 1957 USA issue and would be a nice addition to your collection.

RECORD - graded VG 

has minimal light scatches and scuffs (can't feel with fingernail) that don't effect the listening experience.   

 
one label is missing (B side) the other is firmly attached (A side) and shows minor spindle hole wear (see pictures). Unfortunately with the Transition LP's, the labels came off easily.  

The runout areas have the correct etchings (TRLP30A  + CR + 5N on one side TRLP30B on the other side)  

This album plays REAL STRONG with no distortion, skipping or other major audible defects. An excellent album to listen to.  There is an occassional light surface noise (dust/static noise) but never anything that interferes with the music quality.  


COVER - graded a Good

no shrinkwrap - no price sticker or writing on the front cover - back cover has the note for the booklet (included) - front and back cover seams are completely split on the top and left side (bottom still attached) - opening edge has some chipping and corner wear (see pictures) - some corner bumping (see pictures), scuff marks on front and back (check pictures) - the new owners can repair the seams as they see fit

BOOKLET

The original booklet is included and is good shape, light bumping on open corners and some oxidation on the spine staple areas

CLEANING

I do a cautionary cleaning only, some light brushing with an approved audio carbon fiber brush and minimal use of audio cleaning solution if warranted. I do not professionally clean my records, I leave that up to the new owners.

GRADING

I utilize the industry standard for grading, Goldmine's, and I tend to grade conservatively.


PACKING
All records are shipped outside their covers, in new sleeves, packed between 2 sturdy corrugated cardboard flats and mailed in an approved record mailer.
