12" Club National du Disque, Paris, CND 17, mono

 

Jean Laforge, born 1925 in Paris, first studies with Magda Tagliaferro, 1943 enter in the Conservatoire National de Paris,  class Jean Doyen, first price 1945. Beginn career 1946 as soloist, toured widely in Europe and Japan. 1958 conductor of choral at the Opéra de Paris, from 1981-1987 professor at the Conservatiore National de Paris.

 

Condition: VG++  ( see grading below ). Sleeve: VG+

NM:  Near mint, an unsealed record that looks as good as new

VG++ :  Excellent, lightly played, very minor surface marks, not audible on play ( checked )

VG+ :  light surface marks, mild surface noice, few sporadic tics up and there, but should sound fine overall

VG :  more consistent noice or defects, or light scratches, no skip ( see description )

Good :  Noisy, but plays through. I will only sell rare or unusual items in this condition

Sleeve :

NM :  close to new

VG+ :  well preserved cover, but sign of wear

VG :  more pronounced defects, discoloration, slight delamination, writing , etc. ( see item description )
