Lot of 2 classic rock records that are hard to find from Jesse Ed Davis. I am selling them both because they both complement each other nicely. Low starting bid.
Jesse Ed Davis - SD 33-346 - Original USA pressing. Rare 1st solo album from famed session guitarist , Jesse Ed Davis 1971 release on SD 33-346. Includes contributions especially from Eric clapton and Leon Russell among many other notable names. Cover is VG because the bottom seam is split (see pic). If it were not for that, I would grade the cover as VG+. More importantly, the vinyl is EXCELLENT. This thing was not played hardly at all. I don't understand why because you will want to party on this record especially if you dig Clapton. Mary Clayton (the chick who sang background vocals on Gimme Shelter) is also on this album along with Clydie King, and ...now for the drum roll ... Gram Parsons.
Keep Me Comin' KE 32311 is his third album from 1973. This one is a promo copy. Cover is a strong VG+++. More importantly, the vinyl is EXCELLENT. It features a crack band including Jim Keltner and Jim Gordon. Backing vocals by Mary Clayton, Bonnie Bramlett, Leon Russell and others. This is arguably a better record than his self-titled first effort.
Man, I wish I did not have to sell these albums, but I need the money.
