Description

Various,Jesus Christ Super Star,LP, Catalogue Number: (3 MKPS 2012), Cover Details: Star shaped fold out sleeve with a Plain inner sleeve.

Cover Condition: very good condition with some creasing or marks as seen in the pictures or noted.

Record Condition: Has been played a fair number of times and has visible surface marks but no feelable scratches so should not have any jumps/skips or anything serious beyond some background sound in quieter parts.

Any Other Details: Very rare original pressing on the pink and red MCA 'dog bone' Record Label, which we beleive to be the second pressing, the first was limited to a few hundred copies. Features Ian Gillan of Deep Purple as Jesus, cast includes Yvonne Elliman, Mike D'Abo and Murray Head. This copy is housed in the very rare star shaped fold out cover making this an intermediate release, between the earliest very rare promo pressing and the general 'dog bone' release. Complete with 12 page lyric and photo booklet which has come apart at the staples.This has been listened to and on our record player it plays through with just a few light crackles here and there, but no jumps or sticks. The sleeve has wear in the corners, the bottom left has a 2cm split, there is some edge wear. The star fold out is intact and still fastens. The front cover has light shelf wear
